      The Ranches at Joshua Tree

Located just north of Joshua Tree National Park, LivingHomes Ranches offer endless views, starry nights and quiet respite.

Big View Ranch is about five miles north of highway 62 and comprises 20 acres. The Ranch is surrounded by mountain ranges and it features endangered and protected Desert Tortoises. Big Rock Ranch is south of 62, very close to the Park's northern border and has multiple one to two acre lots. Two different homes are available for either Ranch, both designed by Ray Kappe, and both LEED® for Home certified:

      • RK5.1 has three bedrooms, two baths and is just over 2,000 square feet. Click here to learn more about RK5.1 and configure your own home.
      • RK2.1 has two options: a one story home with three bedrooms, three baths and 2,275 square feet or two stories with four bedrooms, four baths and 3,135 square feet. The one story RK2.1 comes ready for a second story which you can add later. Click here to learn more about RK2.1 and configure your own home.

Ranches range from $1.2 to $1.4M, depending on the site and the home you select. Options include a guest house and a solar heated swimming pool.

Joshua trees rely on the female Yucca Moth for pollination. The female moth collects and distributes pollen onto the surface of the flower. She then lays her eggs in the flowers' ovaries, and when they hatch, the larvae feed on the yucca seeds. Moth and Joshua Tree: Now that's a partnership!
